New Age English School Inc, is seeking a fully qualified teacher of TESOL (ESL), to commence a full-time position at the school as of November 2009, for a one year working contract, renewable if requested.
We are an incorporated school with approximately 236 students aged from 6 month-old babies to adults. We need a native English speaker with teaching qualifications who not only loves to teach and is dedicated to teaching English as a Second Language, but who at the same time is interested in learning about Japan and its’ culture.
We are situated in an area called Oyamada, which is in the city of Kuwana in Mie Prefecture, 30 minutes south of Nagoya City. Our area is perfect for foreigners wanting to see and experience the beautiful well-known tourist spots such as Kyoto, Nara and Osaka which is situated south of Kuwana.
◎ A fully furnished apartment (2LDK) is available only 5 minutes walk from the school premises.
◎ A car is supplied, so an International Drivers’ License is needed. (If the successful applicant does not require a car, this can be considered.)
◎ Family orientated atmosphere since our school is a house located in a residential area.
Salary: Starting at 260,000yen, and after a trial of 3 months can be raised to 300,000yen.
Commencing: October 1, 2009 for paid training month together with the teacher to be replaced.

UNIQUE POSITION: This position is to replace a teacher who has been working at our school for the past 6 years. The teaching hours are rather lengthy; consequently over-time for more than 6 lessons per day is added to each monthly salary. Therefore, we are seeking a qualified ESL teacher, who loves teaching a great variety of ages, is dedicated to his /her profession, hard working, fun loving, enjoys preparing and participating in activities such as Halloween, Christmas etc.
